Itinerary

Day 1Welcome to Chile!

Welcome to Chile and its beautiful and mysterious island isolated in the middle of the Pacific. Get ready for your dream vacation or honeymoon!

Upon arrival at Santiago’s airport, your private driver will take you to your hotel, located in a dynamic area of the capital.

Then, during the afternoon, set off to discover the metropolis. You can visit the Chilean capital at your own pace, by foot and by metro. Take the funicular to San Cristobal Hill, go for a drink in the trendy Bellavista district, or stroll through the historic center.

Overnight: Magnolia Hotel, Superior room, Santiago de Chile.

Day 2On the way to Easter Island

Head to Easter Island, the perfect paradise destination, in the middle of the Pacific.

You will take your domestic flight to this Polynesian island in the morning. Easter Island is the most isolated territory in the world, located in the middle of the ocean, in Chilean Polynesia. This exceptional geographical location makes Easter Island unique, authentic, mysterious, and fascinating.

Upon your arrival in Hanga Roa, the capital of Rapa Nui, you can pick up your rental car and head to your exceptional accommodation: a luxurious cabin facing the sea and coconut trees.

Then, begin your exploration of the mysterious island. To end your day peacefully, discover the cove and local gastronomy, and choose one of the pretty terraces to enjoy the magnificent sunset. With a little luck, you might spot some sea turtles!

Overnight: Kona Koa Lodge, Bungalow facing the ocean, Hanga Roa.

Day 3Hiking and learning about the traditions and culture of Easter Island

On your second day, we recommend taking a half-day hike with a private English-speaking guide who will introduce you to the mysteries and secrets of Easter island.

Then, you will continue to explore the island with your local guide. You will discover the ceremonial sites of Rapa Nui and immerse yourself in the history of this wonderful island. Reach the ceremonial town of Orongo, located at the top of the Ranu Kau volcano, where the most important ceremony of the island’s second period was performed: the election of the Tangata Manu (the bird man).

Finish the day with a traditional Polynesian dancing show, an unforgettable experience followed by a delicious dinner.

Overnight: Kona Koa Lodge, Bungalow facing the ocean, Hanga Roa.

Day 4The Moai of Easter Island

Next, travel to Ahu Akivi, the only Rapa Nui site located inland and whose moai monoliths stare out at the sea. Its seven moai statues are said to represent King Hotu-Matua’s envoys.

From there you can hike to the top of the island. For even more impressive panoramas, hike towards the coast and then walk back to Hanga Roa.

Overnight: Kona Koa Lodge, Bungalow facing the ocean, Hanga Roa.

Day 5Exploring Easter Island in depth

On this third equally-impressive day, you will discover the northeast of Easter Island with your local guide.

You will reach the site of the Rano Raraku volcano and quarry. Its world famous moai are silent witnesses to the past of the Rapa Nui ethnic group. This place boasts a panoramic view of the Ahu Tongariki (ceremonial platform), which is the largest of the ceremonial sites on the island, with at least 15 moai erected there.

Finally, you will stop at Papa Vaka, an interesting site displaying pretty petroglyphs that evoke the beliefs of the Rapa Nui culture.

Overnight: Kona Koa Lodge, Bungalow facing the ocean, Hanga Roa.

Day 6Relaxing on a paradise beach

Since a honeymoon or anniversary trip is not complete without its romantic moments, enjoy a relaxing morning on Easter Island’s most beautiful beach. Anakena Beach is a gorgeous white sand beach flanked by indolent palm trees, where you can admire the statues of Ahu Ature Huki and Nau-Nau.

If you have energy to burn, opt for a marine activity: scuba diving in crystal clear water or active stand-up paddling are available on the beach.

It will then be time to say goodbye to the island and head back to Hanga Roa airport, leaving your rental car and boarding your flight to Santiago. Your private driver will take you to your luxurious hotel upon arrival.

Overnight: Magnolia Hotel, Superior room, Santiago de Chile.

Day 7 ¡Adíos, Chile!

This morning, enjoy a final walk through Santiago’s vibrant neighborhoods, or a last museum visit.

The time to return home has unfortunately arrived! Your private transfer will drive you to Santiago’s  airport. Then, it is time to board your international flight.

Take the opportunity to bring back some pisco, a traditional, well-loved alcohol from Chile.
