We are aware that every trip has some environmental impact. Of course, the idea is not to stop traveling, but rather to minimize our ecological footprint and encourage sustainable travel initiatives and eco-tourism in Chile.

At Travel Coach Chile, we are convinced that a successful itinerary is an ecologically- and socially-responsible trip. Thus, we are committed to communicating in a transparent manner with our travelers, encouraging awareness, and remembering our responsibilities as global citizens. Our service providers are our keystone

We have developed relationships based on trust with our partners, and they have been selected for their compatible values. We carefully choose local providers for the quality and authenticity of their services. We pay them fairly and equitably, and always before the service is performed.

We always encourage visitors to favor alternatives to major tourist sites, which allows us to work with local, sometimes isolated communities. It is important to mention that the government is training and subsidizing some of these areas in order to prepare those communities to receive international tourists. By promoting ecotourism, and by working hand-in-hand with remote communities in Chile, we participate in their economic and social development.

A zero-waste agency

We want to help our travelers balance their impact by promoting sustainable travel.Sustainable tourism is about reducing our environmental impact by traveling more slowly and by adopting good practices!Within TravelCoachChile, we are moving towards zero waste behaviour and we do everything to reduce our footprint on the planet, in our daily lives as much asin the agency!

Slow Travel enthusiasts

In addition, we are actively developing a range of trips based only on public transportation in order to limit the local carbon footprint and avoid domestic flights. We also offer immersive stays with the Aymara, Likan Antai, or Mapuche communities. We also provide a range of eco-friendly accommodations. We are slow travel enthusiasts and enjoy organizing vacations with a reduced pace, focused on a particular region with short journeys. Have you ever thought about sailing between Patagonian fjords on a cargo ferry? Or why not road trip across the Patagonian roads in a van? For us, Slow Travel means taking time to take the time.

Code of ethics

Like many travel enthusiasts, we are concerned about the human impact on biodiversity and would like to better protect the environment. We believe that it is just as necessary to adopt responsible behaviors at the end of the world as it is close to home. To do so, we have developed a Code of Ethics which aims to inform and encourage good practices. We also offer our customers a calculation of the carbon footprint of their on-site travel and suggest alternatives to reduce it.
