Day 1Visiting Santiago de Chile

Upon arrival in Santiago de Chile, the capital of Chile, your private transfer will drop you off at your hotel. 

Take advantage of some much-needed downtime in your comfy hotel before getting ready to explore the bustling Chilean metropolis. Do not miss a visit to Plaza de Armas, the historic district, and San Cristobal Hill (an iconic hill in the middle of the city).

Cap off your day with a delicious traditional meal in the bohemian barrio Bellavista.

Rest up to prepare for an extraordinary, action-packed 10-day tour in Chile.

Day 2On the way to Patagonia

The next leg of your adventure to discover the best of Chile starts today. In the morning, your private taxi will take you to Santiago’s international airport, where you will catch a flight to Punta Arenas, the heart of Chilean Patagonia! At the airport, your comfortable rental car will be waiting for you. What follows is a memorable road trip to Puerto Natales, crossing the marvelous landscapes of Patagonia.

Then, you will have the opportunity to discover Puerto Natales. The village embodies the typical Patagonian spirit with its multicolored houses and mysterious landscapes. Enjoy a walk by the sea, where you will have spectacular views. Do not miss a stop at Puerto Boris, a national heritage monument.

Day 3Exploring the best of Torres del Paine

Get on the road as early (or late) as you like to reach the most incredible Chilean natural reserve, the 8th wonder of the world, Torres del Paine National Park

You will be accommodated in a comfortable hotel, in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park. Today offers the perfect opportunity to explore the wonders around you at your own pace! By car or by foot, happy travelers will visit the park’s magnificent viewpoints, walks, hikes, and waterfalls. If you are lucky enough, you might even encounter an impressive puma or guanacos in the wild.

Overnight: Pampa Lodge, Torres del Paine National Park.

Day 4Cruising to the glaciers

On your last day in Torres del Paine National Park, embark on a spectacular cruise to a glacier. The excursion will take you closer to the Grey Glacier, one of the most impressive in the region. Grey Glacier is part of the Southern Ice Field and is located in the western sector. It is a huge mass of ice about 4 miles wide and 100 feet high! This cruise will give you breathtaking views of the glacier, the lake, and the park. This cruise is not to be missed during a stay in Patagonia. This unforgettable experience will finish with a refreshing surprise!

Day 5Back to Santiago de Chile

Enjoy your last glimpses of Torres del Paine before taking the road towards Punta Arenas. There, you will be able to go for a nice walk on the shore and observe some must-see sites of the city. 

It will then be time to drop off your rental car at the Punta Arenas airport and catch your domestic flight back to the capital. Upon arrival, your private transfer will take you to your accommodation.

Enjoy a relaxing, gourmet, cultural evening in Santiago de Chile, and get ready to start the second part of this amazing 10-day tour.

Day 6Discovering San Pedro de Atacama

A private driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and take you to Santiago’s airport for a quick flight to Calama. Upon your arrival, you will take a shared transport to travel the 2 hours to the town of San Pedro de Atacama, your home base for the following days.

Stroll through San Pedro city, visit Pukara de Quitor, or cycle through the Canyon del Diablo (bikes included) to take advantage of your first day in the Atacama Desert.

In the evening, you will enjoy a stargazing tour with an astrophysicist to observe the clearest sky in the world

Day 7 Discovering Moon Valley and Rainbow Valley

With your private English-speaking guide, you will discover the Moon Valley in the morning (other agencies opt for the afternoon, so enjoy the peace and privacy) and the Arcoíris Valley (“Rainbow Valley”) in the afternoon . These are two of Atacama’s most iconic, essential locations!

You will discover the Salt Mountain Range in the Atacama Desert, the driest place in the world, to admire one of the most scenic spots on this 10-day tour in Chile: the Moon Valley. This tour will make you feel like you are on another planet! In the afternoon, you will be driven to Yerbas Buenas area, which is of historical importance due to the presence of petroglyphs. Then, you will reach the so-called Rainbow Valley, a canyon painted in an array of colors due to the presence of various minerals. 

Enjoy a cocktail in the desert at sunset to bring this beautiful day to a close.

Day 8 Immersion in the Altiplano

Embark on a full-day immersion with your English-speaking guide in the Altiplano to discover the lagoons and volcanoes of the region!

During this private tour, you will visit the small town of Toconao and meet llamas and numerous vicuñas before climbing to the Altiplano lagoons of Miscanti and Miñiques. Then you will visit the Aguas Calientes and Talar Salar, where you can take a short hike to a viewpoint called Piedras Rojas (“Red Stones”).

Savor a delicious lunch in a traditional local restaurant and visit Chaxa Lagoon in the Atacama salt flats, where your guide will explain the flora, fauna, and characteristics of this environment.

Day 9Bathing in the impressive geysers

A new day means a new adventure with your private English-speaking guide. He will take you to discover the majestic El Tatio geysers at dawn, an unforgettable experience !

You will start your day a little later in the morning than the other agencies to have the place to yourself. The highlight is seeing the steam vents of the El Tatio geysers. Then, you will drive to the small village of Machuca with its lagoons and visit the Putana wetland, which offers stunning views of the  Putana volcano. You will also discover the secret White Geysers, where you will be able to take a dip in  the hot springs.

After this unique experience, your driver will transport you to the Calama airport for a short flight to Santiago. You private driver will take you to your accommodation,for a well-deserved night of sleep after your early morning adventures.

Day 10Last moments in Chile

After a nice breakfast in your hotel, enjoy your last moments in Chile’s capital.
