The next step of your South American trip starts today. In the morning, your driver will take you to the international airport of Santiago, where you will catch a flight to Punta Arenas to start your trip to Patagonia. Welcome to the heart of the Chilean Patagonia! At the airport, a transfer will be waiting for you.
You are on your way to the city of Punta Arenas. You will have plenty of time to explore this traditional Patagonian city! Do not forget to visit La Costanera del Estrecho (the ocean front), the central market, and the house of pioneer José Menéndez. Reach the Cerro de la Cruz lookout for an incredible 360-degree view of the surroundings. From there, you will be able to admire austral seas, la Tierra del Fuego and even Brunswick peninsula.

The excursion will take you to the most impressive viewpoints of the park: Mirador Grey, Mirador Pehoe, Saltos Grande, and even Nordenskjold Lake Viewpoint. Your last stop will be at the Cueva de Milodón, the famous cave where a prehistoric giant was found.
Overnight: Pampa Lodge, Torres del Paine National Park
For your last day at Torres del Paine National Park, hop on board this cruise. The excursion will get you as close as possible to the Grey Glacier. The glacier is part of the Southern Ice Fields and is located in the western sector. It is a huge ice mass approximately 3.7 miles wide and 98 feet high!
