Day 8¡Hola, Patagonia!

The next phase of your honeymoon has begun: you’re on your way to the magical Patagonia!

Depart this morning for the Santiago airport for your local flight to Punta Arenas. Upon landing, you will be able to pick up your comfortable rental car and start your road trip through Patagonia.

Take the road towards Puerto Natales. The city is located on the shores of the bay of Última Esperanza (“Last Hope”). Its small, colorful houses with corrugated iron roofs give the town its end-of-the-world charm. The atmosphere, however, is very cosmopolitan, set to a backdrop of powerful, untamed wilderness.

Overnight stay in a trendy lodge overlooking the bay.

Day 9Navigating to the glaciers of O'Higgins Park

An almost unmissable excursion if you are passing through Puerto Natales, we suggest you discover the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers with an agency that was among the first to sail to the glaciers. A pioneering spirit is guaranteed in O’Higgins Park!

You will encounter the incredible world of the Patagonian fjords through the endemic flora and fauna juxtaposed with the majestic glaciers.

Then take the road to Torres del Paine National Park, the jewel of Chilean Patagonia!

Day 10First discoveries of Torres del Paine

Today is dedicated to the exploration of Torres del Paine National Park, by car or on foot, whichever you desire!

Must-sees during your visit: the Lake and Glacier Grey, the Salto Grande, the Cascada Río Paine, and finally the Lago Pehoé; the shore of this lake is one of the best points to observe the Cuernos del Paine, a magnificent mountain range that is reflected in the turquoise color of the waters.

Finish this adventure in the middle of Patagonian nature with an unbeatable view of the Laguna Azul!

Day 11Cruise to Grey Glacier

In the morning, set off on a discovery of the Grey Glacier on a cruise in a boat that approaches the glacier as close as possible so its passengers can enjoy an incomparable view of the landscape composed of mountains, icebergs and vegetation. After an hour of sailing, you will find yourself with a front-row view of the glacier, from which you will be able to observe the ice up close. Sometimes it’s tinged with blue, other times it appears green! It’s an awesome once-in-a-lifetime experience, and one that will fill you with lasting memories.

Day 12A typical day at the ranch

Take the route of “estancias” (South American ranches) today, another angle on a traditional Patagonian experience.

You will meet real “gauchos” in a Patagonian ranch. Estancias specialize in horses, which sheep farmers have used for centuries to drive herds, like cowboys.

The setting is splendid and completely isolated; it is the perfect place to go on a horseback ride! You will be led through the middle of wild nature, a unique and authentic experience.
Then enjoy a hearty, traditional meal with a breathtaking view of the pampas.
Return to Punta Arenas and stay overnight in a comfortable hotel with a zen atmosphere.

Day 13Meet the penguins!

Today a boat will transport you to Isla Magdalena to meet a colony of Magellanic penguins.
While sailing, you will be able to observe cormorants, sea lions, and other aquatic species of the Magellan Strait. With some luck, you might even spot dolphins on the way home! The landscapes, too, are simply superb.
In the early afternoon, catch your domestic flight to Santiago, where you will enjoy a well-deserved night at the airport to rest before the last part of your dream stay.

Day 14En route to the Paradise Island of the Pacific

Head to Easter Island, the perfect honeymoon destination off the beaten path.

You will take a domestic flight to the Polynesian island.

Easter Island is the most isolated territory in the world, located in the middle of the ocean in Chilean Polynesia. This exceptional geographical location makes Easter Island unique, authentic, mysterious, and fascinating.

Upon arrival in Hanga Roa, the capital of Rapa Nui, you can pick up your rental car and head to your memorable accommodation: a luxurious cabin surrounded by coconut trees and facing the sea.

Then, begin your discoveries of the mysterious island.

To end your day peacefully, discover the cove, the local gastronomy, and choose a pretty terrace from which to admire the beautiful sunset. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-kept.With a little luck, you will see beautiful sea turtles!

Overnight stay in a luxurious lodge facing the ocean.

Day 15Guided hike on the mysterious island

For this second day, we recommend you take a half-day hike with a private English-speaking guide who will fill you in on the mysteries and secrets of the Polynesian island.

Then, discover the island on your own. You will find the ceremonial site of Rapa Nui and immerse yourself in the history of this wonderful island. Reach the ceremonial city of Orongo, located at the top of the Ranu Kau volcano, where the most important ceremony of the second period of the island was performed: the election of the Tangata Manu (the bird man).

Overnight in a blissful lodge facing the sea.

Day 16Cultural discovery in the center of the island

Today, set off for the west coast of the island through the center, and especially the Puna Pau quarry! This is where the headdresses of the statues, the pukao, were cut. You will enjoy a panoramic view of the sublime city as you make your way up.

Then, join the Ahu Akivi, the only Rapa Nui site located inland, where the moai face the sea. The seven moai represent the envoys of King Hotu-Matua.

From here you can hike to the highest point of Easter Island. An alternate option: make a loop towards the sea and descend along the coast towards Hanga Roa.

Overnight stay in a cozy cabin overlooking the beach.

Day 17Exploring Easter Island in depth

For this third day, which will be just as impressive, you will discover the North East of Easter Island.

You will reach the site of the volcano and the Rano Raraku quarry. World-famous moais are silent witnesses to the past of Rapa Nui’s indigenous people. This place offers you a panoramic view of the Ahu Tongariki (ceremonial platform), which is the largest of the ceremonial sites on the island with at least 15 moais erected.

Finally, you will stop at Papa Vaka, an interesting site displaying pretty petroglyphs that evoke the beliefs of the Rapa Nui culture.

Overnight stay in a beautiful lodge with sea views.

Day 18Relaxation on a beach in paradise

Since a honeymoon is also about those romantic moments in paradise, indulge in this day of relaxation on Easter Island’s most beautiful beach.

The Caleta Anakena is a sumptuous white-sand beach flanked by palm trees, where you can admire the statues of the Ahu Ature Huki and Nau-Nau.

If you want to burn some energy, opt for water sports: scuba diving in the crystal clear water or active paddling are available on the beach.

Day 19Back to the capital of Chile

Enjoy one last free morning and your final moments on Easter Island. You will then journey back to Santiago, the capital.

From Hanga Roa Airport, you will board your domestic flight to the Chilean capital.

At the airport a private transfer will take you to your hotel in the beating heart of Santiago de Chile. You can then relax a little or explore the Bellavista district in more depth. Trendy cafes and delicious restaurants await you.

Overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.

Day 20¡Adíos, Chile!

The time to say your goodbyes to an unforgettable honeymoon has unfortunately come. Take the opportunity to bring back a bottle of pisco, a typical Chilean alcohol.

Then, it’s already time to get on your international flight! Though you’re leaving Chile, long-lasting memories of the end of the world will linger.
